Sustainability at WASI.

Solar energy is one of the most promising and sustainable energy sources available to us. Every day, the sun is used by millions of homes to generate electricity without producing harmful emissions. This form of energy generation not only helps reduce our dependence on fossil fuels, but also helps reduce CO2 emissions. That's why we not only have solar panels and the appropriate substructure in our range, but also set a good example: we have installed a photovoltaic system on our roofs to produce our own electricity in the future and make WASI a greener place.

Durable and recyclable

Products made of stainless steel are
faithful companions.

We have always taken a sustainable approach to reducing CO2 emissions to a minimum. One of the biggest plus points of stainless steel is its durability:

Due to its particularly high corrosion resistance, stainless steel is a rust-free product that creates connections that last. Thus, our products are not companions for life, but faithful companions.

When it comes to a product's CO2 footprint, disposal plays a major role in addition to recyclability. Stainless steel, unlike many other metals, is 100% recyclable.

Harness the power of the sun

WASI goes one step further.

WASI is also progressive in electricity generation and is building a photovoltaic system on large parts of the company roof in 2023. This photovoltaic system will generate 75% of the total electricity on an annual average. At peak times, approximately 998 kilowatts of electricity can thus be generated and used throughout the company. The whole thing is supported by an in-house flat roof substructure from our product range.

Charging stations for e-cars & e-bikes

We offer charging stations on the company premises for all e-vehicles, company vehicles and e-bikes of employees. This means that eight e-cars can be charged at the same time. The e-bike charging station is also covered and thus protects against rain. WASI continues to do its part for the environment and is always looking for new ways to act in an even more sustainable and environmentally conscious way.

A home for bees

Bee lovers take note: WASI houses four beehives on the company premises, which are allowed to live undisturbed and produce honey. A wildflower meadow is created especially for this purpose, and nature alone takes care of it.
